Khajuraho Temples

Khajuraho is one of the sizzling temple complexes in Madhya Pradesh built in the old era by the Chandela kings. Khajuraho temples are also referred as the temples of love making. There are theories associated with it. It is said during the era people were involved in meditation too much and they did not have time to make love. The Rajput warriors of the region constructed these temples in order to get the sex drive of people back in order. These temples are listed in the UNESCO world heritage site list. One of the important festivals related to the temple is the Khajuraho dance festival.

One can enjoy the dances on the backdrop of the temple and it is really a thrilling experience. Khajuraho temples are among the most visited monuments in India and there is a heavy rush of foreign tourists in Khajuraho. The Khajuraho dance festival is celebrated from 1st to 7th of February.
