Day 1: Akshardham Temple Tour
The Akashardham Temple is a major tourist site in Delhi. You can take a metro to Akshardham. The temple complex is a combination of place of worship, cultural tours, art and exhibition. The temple remains closed on Mondays.

Day 2: Visit to Historic Red Fort
Built in red sandstone by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Red Fort is one of the heritage sites located in Old Delhi. Rang Mahal and Meena Bazar are some of its centers of attraction. Just opposite The Red Fort is the famous Jama Masjid, which is one of the oldest mosques in the country. Old Delhi is connected by metro services.

Day 3: South Delhi Temples Tour
The famous Lotus Temple of the Bahai Faith is located in South Delhi. Standing amid the lush green landscaping, this lotus shaped temple is a perfect example of modern architecture. Just close to it is the famous ISKCON Temple of the Hare Rama Hare Krishna cult. The epic Ramayana and Mahabharata Multimedia show is a must see here.

Day 4: Cultural Tour in Delhi
You can visit the Crafts Museum to see the traditional Indian art, crafts, jewelry, textile and tribal craft. This is the best place to know the famous crafts of all the Indian states under one roof. The museum remains close on Mondays. You can take a metro to Pragati Maidan to reach here.

Day 5: Delhi sightseeing
Visit the famous Qutub Minar in Mehrauli region of South Delhi. Chattarpur Mandir is another center of attraction here. The big statue of Hanuman, The Monkey God, is a must see in the temple complex. The best way to end your day is a visit to the Garden of five senses, which is in the vicinity. It's a perfect place to relax after a tiring day.

Day 6: Enjoy Shopping
For budget travelers, the best place to shop in Delhi is Janpath in Connaught Place. If you're interested in brand shopping, South Extension, Khan Market and Greater Kailash Market are the best places. You can visit Chandni Chowk, Lajpat Nagar for the best stores carrying Indian clothes.

Day 7: Out of Delhi
Before you leave Delhi you can visit the Rajghat, India Gate. Take a tour of the Rashtrapati Bhawan. You can also visit the famous Mughal Garden here, known for its wide variety of flowers. However, it's open to the public only during February and March.
